Biography
Han Kiat spent 32 years at IBM in an enriching career in business and technology development. He has held various leadership roles across the Asia-Pacific Region.
An experienced leader in the IT Industry with a track record of success in leading high valued complex sales teams across multiple cultures in the Asia Pacific region, building strategies and execution plans to grow revenue and profit, turning around an unprofitable business unit, negotiating to resolve troubled contracts and starting a new line of business with an aggressive return on investment target.
He was also the Chairman and Board Member of an IBM joint venture in IT support services in Singapore with an annual turnover of more than $25m with 800 staff.
At the beginning of 2015, he left his corporate role to pursue his passion for executive leadership development with a focus on ‘managing oneself’, energizing employees, and building collaborative teams.
He is also a business development consultant to technology companies in expanding overseas in the ASEAN countries and to lead in the sales and negotiations to close complex deals.
Besides his work commitments, he finds time to volunteer as a coach with a non-profit organization, Halftime Institute, in helping executives who are going through a transition from the pursuit of success to seeking significance.
