Biography
Mathia has over 25 years of executive management experience. He has led organizations through change while maintaining operational excellence and superior financial performance. He has worked across MNCs and start-ups. He recently served on the board of Swedish public-listed firm, Safeture AB for a 3-year term.
His current interest and focus is with technology start-up companies both as an investor and advisory role for start-up CEOs. He spends time mentoring executives as well as volunteering with NGOs in Singapore.
Previously, he managed various regional businesses for NCS, Nokia, Motorola, and HP respectively. He has deep working experience in both the Asia Pacific and Africa. He has worked across cultures and led diverse teams in challenging environments. He adapts quickly to new environments while delivering superior results and people management.
He has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) from NUS as well as post-graduate diplomas in systems analysis (NUS) and International Marketing Management (SIM).
