Biography
With over 38 years Corporate experience in blue chip Consumer and Financial Services multinationals, Rajiv is a seasoned executive, with vast expertise in General Management, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Client Advisory and Consulting Services, across a variety of international markets. His last assignment was as Head of Marketing and Cross-border business for Visa Inc across the Asia Pacific Region.
Prior to this, Rajiv spent a total of 19 years at Visa in various roles - as Executive Vice President and Head of Product, Marketing, Merchant Acquiring, Consultancy Services for Asia Pacific; Senior Vice President, Central Europe Middle East Africa; and Senior Vice President, International, based out of Singapore and London. For much of his time at Visa, Rajiv also led various Senior Advisory Councils of bankers and clients, to shape and guide strategic business decisions.
Prior to his time at Visa Inc, Rajiv worked in Marketing, Sales, and General Management positions at PepsiCo, Nestle, Procter and Gamble across multiple markets (Singapore, India, Australia, Switzerland). Currently, Rajiv is on the boards of Financial and Fintech Services businesses, and is also a Venture Partner and Director of two Venture Capital companies. His education background comprises a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology New Delhi, and an MBA (post graduate diploma in management) from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
