Biography
Hon Mun brings over 30 years of experience across technology, investing, and sustainability. He has lived and worked in six cities and has led multiple growth and turnaround situations as a two-time CEO, building new ventures and fixing struggling businesses across Asia. He has worked closely with Fortune 500 companies, startups, and family-owned businesses, including an 80-year-old listed company led by a former Prime Minister. These experiences gave him first-hand exposure to corporate complexity, founder- led growth, and the family dynamics that emerge as businesses scale.
Today, Hon Mun works with founders, second- generation leaders, and professional CEOs facing common challenges: scaling without losing control, growing talent in a tight market, and leading through constant change without burning out. Hon Mun is an Executive Mentor at the Linhart Group, an Adjunct Professor at NUS Business School, and an ICF-certified coach. His combined operating and academic experience give him a close and current view of the realities corporate executives and SME leaders face on the ground. What he sees is not a lack of talent, but a long and often painful learning curve. His motivation is simple: to help leaders shorten that curve so they can grow with intention rather than constantly fighting fires.
